This episode of On the Record
dives into a topic near and dear to me, Goalball. Goalball is a sport for the
blind that I have been playing for about 12 years. Last year in September I had
the experience of playing on the Seattle Killer Cobras team, when we placed 2nd
in the Goalball National Championships in the B Division. Next month, I'll be going
to Atlanta to play in the SouthEast regional tournament as a "pool
player."
“In
this episode of “On the Record” I interview Richard AH – SIU of the Seattle
King Cobras and Honda Sao of the Grit City Sound about the sport of Goalball, a
sport specifically designed for blind players. They discuss the ins and outs of
the game, Seattle’s trip to the US Nationals, and the international Goalball
scene.
